Buying used

Does anyone know if buying used items from the states still attracts the same amount of import duty ?

Brought in various used car parts from the states,
duty and vat is on the 'declared' value or any invoice enclosed.

Cheers for that Gary.. saw some clamps that Tig Paul uses, the Destaco type, and found some good quality s/h used in the states.

Yeah I know all about Brauer, I only used to use them when I could build the cost into someone elses jig costs..... not come across the sandfield one before, worth a look, thanks Paul.

Used to use loads of different Brauer clamps working in a factory a few years ago. They do all sorts. You could modify cheapo RS ones by fitting a lower jaw of any shap you like. Nice cheap project.
