Buying steel sheet in non standard sizes.

Hi Guys
I have just been contacted by a garden designer asking me to make plasma cut screens '2.3m in width and 1.9m in height'
I know the standard size for steel is 2.5x1.2m or thereabouts is it possible to buy it in non standard sizes. She may be able to modify her designs to suit but it would be nice to be able offer to match her design.

Some sheets are available in 3000 x 1500, I don't think you'll find anything bigger, if you have a lot to buy, talk to a decoiler they will go up to 4000 x 1500, what thickness are you using, and will they be hot rolled or cold reduced

I've loaded sheets 1800mm & 2000mm wide, they are used a lot by narrow boat builders and for agri trailers

I would be looking at 1.6mm sheets and I have to handle them by myself, I had not thought of this until right now. 1.8x2m should just be manageable.
Hot/cold rolled? I usually use the stuff with a thin black oxide coating so probably hot rolled it does not really make a difference to me.

I shall chat up my prospective customer and see how important the size is at this stage.

That could be tricky, the thinnest I have seen is 3mm and only in hot rolled.

The next size up is 5m x 2m. That would divide nicely into 2 panels. Order it from someone with a guillotine and you can supply them for an efficient cost / material usage without lifting a finger.

Work doesn't get any easier than that.
