I didn't think I was being testy. Just making an observation,the words " I've been busy" doesn't wash with me. I've always said to my kids when they haven't rung me for a little while and they give the reason "I've been busy". My reply is "no you have a list of priorities/things to do. And ringing me was not anywhere near the top, saying that I get on great with my kids and they take my comments light heartedly as they were intended.

Family just seemed to grow,all on its own,I think they have discovered what was causing it as no more arrived in the last
Ten years, I have a daughter with two girls,younger son has one boy and two girls,elder son (agricultural contractor ) has two girls and four boys, So you can see why it's an expensive time when Christmas and Birthdays come round.

Never say never, some friends of mine had a 13 year old daughter, when suddenly she had a (totally unplanned) little sister!

I say whether the lady comes back or not, the best advise would be, get someone close to her husband and get good information as in exactly what he wants, or simply ,,,,, let him pick it!! I know sacreficing the surprize for satisfaction ,,,,,,,,,, and contentness??????
