just after peoples opinion on tig welders im looking at to purchase the parweld xts202 200A thermal arc fabricator 181iesab buddy arc 180 amp inverter thermal arc 175te tig which one would serve me well in fabricating sheet metal work and welding mild steel i look forward to your helpful a positive feedback many thanks

Hi Philip, Only the Thermal Arc 175TE you mentioned is an out and out TIG set. All the other sets are either stick sets with a lift TIG function or a multi process MIG set.

Depending on the thickness of the sheet then the Thermal Arc will see you well

Do you need a multiprocess machine or a dedicated tig welded?

Do you need/want HF start & upslope/downslope, post flow etc.

im considering getting a multiprocess machine now ive just been looking at the jasic pro tig 180 dc inverter welder i dont know alot about these unit and would like a bit of feedback on them before i commit to buying one are they any good
