Hi, I had a Lincoln Electric Powertec 161c which I sold a while back as I'd no need for it.
I'm looking for another machine now and as much as I'd like another LE machine, the cost is high compared to CLarke/SiP, etc.
I'll be using it for anything from repairing my camper to welding 5mm plate. What else is there out there, is there a smaller, more hobby sized LE machine or should I look at Clarke/SiP?
I did have a 150 Turbo machine of there's before the Powertec and it was great but a mate has a newer Clarke and I don't rate it, it's coarse compared to my old one and especially compared to the LE.
I bought my LE from a dealer on here and got a great deal as it was an ex-demo machine so something like that would be an option I suppose if it came up.
Thanks for looking and any assistance would be appreciated. all the best, John.
