hello to all, my newly acquired quite old but good butters 45 cut , has a problem, no pilot arc!!, after doing all basic tests, could find no obvious fault. just to prove a point I placed a small curl of 5amp fuse wire into nozzle tip to short electrode. this created short to ignite. got set up on piece of scrap steel and squeezed trigger and off it went cutting sweetly until I released trigger. the consumable parts of torch look unused, need to find out if problem is with torch head i.e. what is supposed to trigger pilot arc. also where I can source consumables for torch, can send photos if needed, any help appreciated. thank you.
