Does anyone please have a wiring diagram for this welder?
Here's the problem I have. Every now and again, usually after a short tack weld or similar; after releasing the trigger, part of the trigger circuit stays live and the gas solenoid is left energised, however the motor feed does not continue to run giving the impression the welder is actually in standby. Of course if I don't notice this it's there emptying my argon bottle!
What makes it weirder is that if I turn off the power at the switch on the front of the welder, the gas solenoid and the welding power circuit is still energised. It's not until I actually unplug it from the mains that the gas solenoid and the circuit is obviously de-energise
This has done this from new but I’ve only just realised what is happening as before I thought it was the gas valve sticking and so I replaced it. The company I purchased the welder from 3 or 4 years ago is no longer in business so I can’t speak to them about it
Can anyone shed any light on what is happening here so I can do a bit of fault finding and sort it?
Thanks in advance to anyone!
