I got one in Nottingham. So did dozens of others, because I was far from the only car nipping down the bus lane to save queuing in the wrong lane for an age.
A simple camera, up on a pole, must earn hundreds, if not thousands, every day for Notts council.

Think my last was in Peckham. Wish it was only £35!
I'd last driven there about 32 years ago. Of course now that bit is buses/bikes only or some such. The road is straight like it always was, straight into the catchment zone. You have to do an awkward right beforehand to avoid it. There's a sign on the road but God knows if there's one on a pole. All the shop fronts are a cacophony of lairy fabric and chicken shops so it's well camouflaged. As I drove in it dawned on me and I did a quick U turn. Too late! £60

Large chicken kebab with chips...expensive but well worth it. I may have a pic somewhere let me hunt around.

I got tucked up for £60 for turning right into a side road, there was a no right turn sign. Except I was doing a three point turn and didn't enter the side road.

I was fuming when I got one of these a few years ago.
The police had closed the road and we all had to turn around...everyone then did the same right without noticing the no right turn sign!
...they must have made a fortune that night!

was a few years ago 5 ish i got caught in a bus lane massive que traffic and i was going 30 yards to the tyre place so i went across and went in there in that space of time the camera took photo
got a fine fair dos i was in the wrong but challanged it this normaly freezes the 2 week pay early charge (i cheaked before going ahead with the challange)
id said i only went in to the lane to cross to the tyre place what was true and they said if i can provide a recipt they would cancel the charge (but a mate of mine worked there at the time and i only paid cash under the counter to him for jobs as went in his pocket so i had jobs done on the cheap)
i said to them it was a punture repair(it was not it was a near new 2nd hand tyre) and was only 15 pounds and id paid in cash so had no recipt
so the said no recipt pay the fine and resent out the fine again with the pay in 14 days at reduced price so i just paid it and moved on
