burndout?????

friend gave me a automig 180 MX.wired for 110V ,got plugged int 220V,so I was told I need a new board and I would have a great welder .Anybody got one for sale or know where I could get one .Everything looks fine inside machine,no evidence of burned up compnents. I got machine wired/hoocked up to 220V,machine clicks when I pull feed trigger but wire feed dosen't work

Sounds like the contactor relay is burnt. Might be worth looking at the PCB, finding the relay (normally the bit with the removable transparent cover) and cleaning the contacts with a bit of sandpaper.

Won't last, but if that works you'll just be looking for a new relay rather than a new board. Failing that can't the manufacturers help direct you to a source of replacement parts?

the small transformer that powers the pcb may be burnt out that would cause total failure as it supplies power to opperate the relay i would look at mains related stuff as its that, that took double the power test th small transformer first.
