Had a job today over in Oldham for a demolition company building up the jaws on a set of hydraulic munchers to allow the new teeth to sit correctly. I also had to modify the top jaw as the reversible tooth protrudes higher than the jaw itself and the top of the last one shot off like a bullet as it cut through a huge chunk of steel. Didn't have much time to take many pics but it was a good little job that actually took most of the day. I also did a bit of hard facing but as I've not finished I'll leave that bit for another post where I need to cut a bit of 50mm Hardox and weld it on the foot of the jaws.
I built everything up using Lincoln 7018's using my Lincoln Ranger. I also built up the jaw that the opposite tooth sits on but couldn't get a good enough picture to show this as I couldn't rotate the jaws. I'll show this on my next post
Cheers
