Hi , chaps , Ihave a garage extension with a bed over and a bathroom behind , the garage has 25mm plasterboard ceiling and a 1 hour fire door ,q does the door outside of this into the bathroom also require a fire door ? Currently one fitted but is rough ,

do you have a double extension with a bedroom over the garage the garage having 25mm plasterboard ceiling below the bedroom floor

the exit door at the rear of the garage is a fire door leading to a hallway one part leading to rest of the house via another doorway the other door leading to a bathroom ?

Sorry my bad , room over garage meets fire regs door into garage from lobby at bottom of stairs is a fire door , the other door in a bathroom is also a fire door , as the garage is essentially sealed , intumescent strips etc are further fire doors required , the rest of my home is a bungalow ,

the door to the garage could do with upgrading too 2hrs firedoor

essentially if the fire is too fierce it could block the hall way at bottom of the stairs

as long as the garage is essentially entered by one door only no need to fit another firedoor else where

unless the bathroom in the garage is connected to the house via another door if this is not the case no fire door needed

upgrade garage firedoor by fitting fireboard to the garage side of the door
