And I remember your excellent poem! (Sorry for not saying so at the time - I was shovelling snow out of my tools...)

Not sure about the condensation yet. I had some about a week ago, and an hour after lighting the stove it was gone. You're defo right about the wall - I have a chair in the corner next to the stove and its SO warm! Drifted off mid-afternoon the other day...

I still have the other 3 walls to seal, but at least they are 'screened off'.

Anyone know how to insulate a metal roller door???

Now at last I can actually put my tools / stuff where I want them - progress!

Anyone know how to insulate a metal roller door???

First question would be do you need the full hight of the door. If not box it in, then put some bi-fold doors on the bottom part. I built some like this for a firm a while back, made the place much warmer

Put a fan in the roof to blow hot air down & circulate it.

Door, make a light wood frame/frames covered with bubble wrap, hinged to door frame, DON'T totally seal it, you want any damp air to migrate to that end & any moisture will condense on the door not on machines. (a passive de-humidifier)

Thanks guys, yes - I need the full door height really.

I was thinking of a roll of carpet over the inside of it, but the double door idea sounds do-able too. Will get the thinking cap on!

Jugs - good plan with the fan - I'm already on it.

I guess I need to seal the other walls before thinking about de-humidifying?
