Not one to miss the bangwangon, other members builds of slow speed grinders had kicked my enthusiasm to build mine.
The motor is from a banding machine. 4pole 3ph Mitsubishi running at 1500rpm only 90w.
It’s a strange little motor, totally sealed to dust. Very smooth. The VFD is also a Mitsubishi unit, rated at 250w.
Material is all aluminium, gleaned over the yrs, or blagged from my mate.
The lump of wood is an off cut of worktop to be used as the base

I was going to use the slotted brackets, but have decided on a different simpler design.
No drawings it’s all in my heed.
