but would it have enough welly to actualy be usefull ?
Maybe he could use tig electrodes?I doubt it. Those electrodes look to be only 2-4mm in Dia. They won't take the current/duration
You can buy a spot weld gun for a stick welder but they look like they use carbon air arc gouging rods so I doubt they're any good.My thoughts on the pikeys too
Some of the van will need spot welding, I actually thought of hooking it up to my arc welder so it should cost about £zero In materials and just some time

i allways thought spot welders used raw power very low voltage but crazy amps. power being power your going to need a big transformer,
maybe same principul useing an old 110v site transformer might work
