A topic of great discussion...yes its used a lot in motorsports industry..it does look nice...would it stand the test of time?don't no...its an interesting technique that I would like to sus and do out of the principal of it....

They don't paint those parts, they're going on desert racers, no point.

I'm not a TIG man myself, but I'd have thought that it must be possible to easily enough do that job with a TIG?
It can't require any more skill than is being used with that MIG technique, and it would certainly have strength.

I'm just thinking that for a similar amount of hassle as trying to copy a TIG weld, it's probably no easier than actually doing one.

True...tig welds are awesome when done correctly...i cant tig yet...am learning thoe...slowly....
