Im very familiar with the area, lived not far away in El Ferrol for a while. Its a beautiful part of the world….only trouble with walking is your daily milage is so low.

Pacific coast is nice, the bit north of San Fransisco was best.

Bucket list is about living your dream, not someone elses!

To be fair I wasn't looking for inspiration from others, merely curious as to what people might see as bucket list item - for instance I have zero interest in walking the length of the country, but can easily understand why someone might wish to do so.

I think you (and i) have missed that one now. Redevelopment etc.etc. I think its very different to how it was, at the time when it was fairly safe, but still "wasteland".

I have a couple things I’d like to do.
One was to see the northern lights but I saw it twice here last year. One other was go to Normandy in a Willys Jeep which I did last week.

In future I would like to drive across America to Canada between my friends places.
Also I’d like to go to Iceland, Finland and Norway. To make that even better it would be fun to do it on a bike.
Oh I want to do a vintage car rally as well. Might have something lined up for that maybe.

Looks a bit rusty. Now you've ticked off No1 maybe No 2 on the list should be get a welder to fix the holes in the bottom of your bucket.

You don't want the dreams escaping out of the rusty holes (thats where most of mine have gone).

Well I did one of mine a while back (20 odd years while I was still fit enough) that was doing a lap of Australia on a bike, I used a Guzzi Le Mans mk 4. one of my others is to get up close to a Clouded Leopard but I don't hold out too much hope for that one.

Finish all the projects I started....

This is the correct answer, I want to finish the 1905 Saunders motor launch i have been rebuilding half my life. Then finish the rebuild of the 16ft national sailing dinghy & take her racing if i am still capable.
There are a few other projects i want to finish too.

Some times pleasure, but 98% work, I've been blessed with being all over the world: China, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, Middle East, all of Europe, several African countries, most of Canada, pretty much every state in the U.S. (not that I'd ever go back, now), Cuba, Brazil.

But I'd love to do a bit of The Great Wall of China, preferably a bit not crawling with a billion tourists. That would be my single bucket list item.

Doing the one item in my bucket this coming week. A trip to the Grimeton Radio Station in Sweden, world heritage site, I’ve wanted to see the place for a while. Next Wednesday is the 100th anniversary of its entry into service. They will be firing it up and sending messages of the celebration on its working frequency of 17.2 kHz.

I had Finland on my bucket list and went a couple of years ago. Absolutely beautiful country and the Finns are some of the nicest people ever.

I will be going back for sure. I miss the ever present sauna, good coffee and Fazer Salmiakki. On a bike would be amazing

Spending some time in an anechoic chamber. I looked but haven't yet found one that's publicly accessible, even for a donation.
A proper hard hat dive, lead boots and everything. They used to be doable via the Historical Diving Society but insurance worries stopped them. Understandably so, not just the safety elf going made.
A ride on the vomit comet, parabolic flight profile so zero G. Doable for money, last time I looked it was about £10K. It struck me as relatively cheap considering the set up needed.

More touring. Thanks to @sako243 , who forced me to sign up to a raid in Scotland when my depression was bad, I'm starting to tour the byways of the world in the Landrover. I walked offas dyke a few years ago, there's so much of the world we never see. And I want to.
