I know we have some motorsport fans on here and I’m off to bsb silverstone tomorrow with my mate

Firstly anyone else going tomorrow? I have a pit pass to see a lad in the Ducati trioptions race will be nice to surprise my mate with it as he doesn’t know

Hopefully going to oulton park, donnington and Cadwell and if the other half agrees me and the boy are off to knockhill and then going riding around Scotland for a few days.

Went to Oulton yesterday, had a chat with a few people I know in the paddock and had a watch of Superbikes at Cascades. Unfortunately with the modern numbers on the bikes as opposed to ACU regs of plain background and plain numbers, I can no longer identify who it is as they pass at high speed. Way back every rider had a distinctive helmet design for their career, Minter, Read, Croxford, Pickrell, Ivy and so on could be picked out so easily. Nowadays they are all fancy multicolour designs that appear to change all the time and only look different from each other close up and stationary.
Probably just me with old worn out eyes.

I'm a big bike racing fan & BSB for me is a great series.
It's may years since I went to a Round (closest/best bike ride for me was Oulton - great circuit) though.

I'm knackering my carcass mountain biking at weekends, so it's catch-up on great telly box of race days for me.

Today was canceled this end due to weather being a bit poor...bring out the backup plan and going tomorrow for final race day,forecast sun all day so the gamble might just pay off

Had a great day today at BSB...even grabbed the chance to talk with the master himself Mr M Dunlop ..But we always need to miss the last BSB race to be able to get out the park without 2 mile queues
