Jack up one driven wheel of the car, run a belt from that to the compressor.
In fact why not set up a line shaft to power other tools as well.
Not so good when the cars not working, or if you want to remove said wheel with a windy gun. Also not good if the missus wants the car to go out to the shops.






Must be '60s but I don't know for sure. I'd like to know it's CFM but the data plate on the compressor itself is covered in years of grime and the one on the tank says nothing useful.

) but it's not helped much. According to the plate it's a Broom & Wade (possibly before becoming Broomwade?) model N5. Apart from that and a serial number, nada. 
but as it's getting on a bit i'll keep it around 150.
