Hi all, bit of consumer rights advice if anyone knows..
I had a new 3PH motor delivered with one of the foot mounts broken and a bit of cooling fin broken.
I emailed them (inverter supermarket) and said if they had spare mounts I would be willing to replace and glue the fin, and would I get a discount.
Reply verbatim - Sorry about this. I pack up the motors the best that I possibly can to avoid damage but sometimes our couriers do not treat them as I would like them too. I do keep spare foot mountings for most frame size motors here in the warehouse so I will send you a replacement today. Unfortunately, there is no way that we can discount you anything, but I can offer you free delivery for your next order
I'm not looking to profit from their misfortune but...
Would I be right in saying I could ask for a complete new replacement on free delivery as I've already had the pleasure of paying £15 for the previous delivery and £170ish for the new motor.?
