Hey folks, had a fun time today doin a few greenlanes with some local club members, was going fine untill three of us slipped off the track and down the bank in to some tree's. I ended up with knac**rd front bumper end caps (got a HD winch bumper ready to fit so no problem
) but what really grinds my gears is, the os rear quarter window that I recently replaced (not cheep!) popped. glass every where....grrrr
Question is now, what to do? replace glass, have to be 2ndhand this time.
or... Panel the window with sheet metal on both side's too make a van style back end.?
Inner body panels are steel but the outer panel is ally? so can't weld panel in place. Or? Had the idea to make a zintec panel to fit the hole and glue it in with sikaflex, wondered about the need to reinforce the panel from behind as in some tophat section across the gap in side. any ideas/suggestions,.....
