So sand and seal 2 coats with a light sand between coats, the oil, sand again? Or straight on with a wax?
Cheers.
Cheers.
Just been looking and Liberton do dyes aswell, would it be "food safe" to use a dye 1st then oil then wax as I assume the dye would be sealed under the oil. Just thinking I might be able to det the timber to the colour she wants abit easier with a dye.Sanding sealer makes quite a difference.
Apply, sand, second coat, gentle de-nib, then wax.
You'll get a smoother finish with one coat of SS and one wax, than you would with 2 coats of just wax.
I much prefer Liberon products over rustins or briwax.
For a kitchen table, I'd go with a few coats of liberon finishing oil for protection and a little black bison wax on top to give it a waxed sheen.
