British Electrical Threads (not conduit) / Safebloc

Bought a 2nd hand Safebloc mains connector thing from the eBay a few weeks ago, and found someone had helpfully removed 3 of the screws holding the bottom plate on and all of the nuts for attaching mains power to.

Does anyone know what thread they are likely to be? Are they going to be BA or BSF? Or something else?

I would try BA to start with,

The screws that hold the bottom plate are definitely 6 BA.
I'm not sure about the nuts holding the power wires; they fit a 4 BA AF spanner but I think the thread may be the odd ( but often used in electrical terminals ) 5 BA size.

For a genuine Rendar Safebloc, the bottom plate screws are 6 BA and the power cable nuts are 4 BA.

so not metric also the tool angle is 47.5 degrees and not 60 like the metric ones......

But diameter is mm as is thread pitch. UK Imperial threads are TPI (in whole nos.)

But you said metric thread form and that is not correct. From seadogs link 'the threads have different forms and are not compatible' I do agree the diameter is expressed as a metric size!
