Compressed industrial wool, I think t5 and 6mm thick but it's like £150 for a sheet that is far too big, it's looking like I'll have to get them from the states,there was a recent thread about what would make an alternative ,,,

I made wipers for a different machine using this stuff. Works really well.I'm putting my bridgeport back together and the only place I can find way wipers on the net is from the states, does anyone make their own

You can get the felt online from GermanyLook at some of the vintage car restoration suppliers. They sell it in 6" squares.
