Bridgeport way wipers

I'm putting my bridgeport back together and the only place I can find way wipers on the net is from the states, does anyone make their own

My dilemma

Compressed industrial wool, I think t5 and 6mm thick but it's like £150 for a sheet that is far too big, it's looking like I'll have to get them from the states,

Look at some of the vintage car restoration suppliers. They sell it in 6" squares.

Replacement wiper material

Looking for suggestions on a source of material to replace hard and brittle slide wipers. Adcock and Shipley 1ESG.

If you want felt wipers go to a gasket makers and grab some felt from their scrap bins.
If you want rubber, not sure where I got the bit of rubber I used.

You really want compressed industrial felt. Not the type sold by arts and crafts or haberdasher's.
