Odd one for the brew room, but it's a general enquiry. There's an old Bridgeport in my workshop and it's in the way. It belongs to my landlord and was part of the deal when I moved in. The rent was cheap as long as I didn't mind his old kit in the place. It's worked well but now I need more space. He's agreed to get rid of it along with some other stuff cluttering the place up but I hear he's planning to scrap it, so my question is, what's an old Bridgeport worth? It has a raiser block but no power feeds and looks a bit shabby. It's going to be a pain to move but seems a shame to scrap. My only interest is getting the space, but I wondered if I could suggest to him that someone else might be happy to come and dismantle it and pay more than the scrap value. What do we think?
