Funnily enough I’ve been thinking vaguely along similar lines. Our place isn’t big enough, but then again I’m speaking from the perspective of someone sitting on a couch infront of a fire, not someone who has trudged across Europe carrying what remains of my possession in a plastic bag.
On a related note, many of the comments on some of the YouTube news channels reporting on refugees coming to the U.K. are appalling, so it’s nice to read the previous two posts.

Unfortunately I popped the element in my boiler just at the start of the thread, had ingredients but nothing to boil in. Just got a new 40L buffalo boiler for £90 off Eblag, test run with a BIAB bitter today, next stop Putin Huylo!
The old boiler has become part of a rocket stove pool heater thing as I couldn't find an element to fit the holes I had made in it, when I tried silver soldering the holes up it warped and then the seal around the base caught fire. I blame Putin for this misfortune as well. He is an absolute D***H***
