Brass.

Hi Guys
I have a request. I am looking for a piece of brass plate, say a bit bigger than A4, it needs to be about 3mm or thicker, can anybody help. I am happy to pay for it and or shipping.

It probably doesnt help, but if the spec can be changed, i`ve got a few sheets of copper, about twice A4 (side by side) but there only about 1/16.

Is it for the triffid?

I am making a trophy for a customer's family golf tournament.
A seagull picked up the old man's ball in the rough and dropped it on the green for him.
So plasma cut sat on The Golf ball on an oak plinth. I reckon at least 3mm to give it the gravity it deserves.
I get all the weird jobs.

Try an engraving firm, they may be able to help. Get chatting to them, they may even pass work your way!

One of the biggest and most expensive "wastes of time" I've ever seen....

Was talking to a couple of welders last week who did some work on the jigs to make it. Supposedly the gaps between the base of the spikes are so small that a lot of the welds are laid over other welds, with no enough room to get in to weld properly.

Sounds like an excuse straight out of a welders mouth doesnt it!
