Brass dishes

Can anyone here produce these lamp shades in as thin a brass as possible?
The shades are 60 deep,and they like the hammered finish if possible,but not averse to a spun finish either.
There’s 17@650 diameter and 26@450.

i tried to get 8 aluminium hemispheres done. £500 tooling cost, then £120 each. In 3mm Ali.

You can imagine that job didn't go ahead!

Just make them out of old copper hot water cylinders....saw that done on the telly last week and it looked really amazing. The guy cut the top off and then cut a pattern into the sides...

As I read it, the OP is needing 43 with the possibility of more.

At £150 a pop...problem is finding that many hot water cylinders all the same size might be a tad tricky!

Brass may be cheaper, possibly easier to form? And likely thinner too.

Showing my ignorance here, but why can't they be pressed? Is it not just a case of male and female former, cut a disc out with hole in the middle and then squash between formers?

If looks like the bit with the bulb on is separate and just a flat plate held on 4 threaded tubes?

If the job is shallow, I wonder if an approximation couldn't be hammered out over a former from copper sheet?

Those dimensions are very close to cultivation type discs (some discs are the same).

Buy 2 and lash up some sort of press type thing. You could weld a bit of plate in the bottom to get the flat bit, cut the top one and weld a flat plate on.
