i noticed your post ly it was it i was replying to, yet more info,i didn,t know esab made murex.its only my preference but of all the 6013 i have tried vodex is the best for root.snowy they are 7018,the wee man loves them.up until about 4 or 5 years ago our staple was a 6013 called afrox, they had calor on the box and i think i read s.africa once,they had a beautiful finish. at the time there was a lot of moaning, but you won,t go far wrong with bolher. sorry but they also had 2 paint marks on the shank ,blue and red. f/j

i have just read again your last reply to this thread, and i can honestly say it is the most educated answer i have read on any site i have visited, i don,t mean to this question. snowy i wish i could discuss stoving but it just isn,t my game. i had a go with the 7018s as i know i will be expected to use them on site i did this root filler and cap but on the steam line it will be tig root . f/j
