Well, I just registered and the pricing is more expensive than Wurth bottles on eBay. See below...

Depends on the brake cleaner, I had some about 15 years ago that ruined the seals in my Klager spray bottles, replaced with viton seals, these have lasted fine with the naphtha based cleaners I have used since then.

Probably this one, LINK, check under technical information for a list of compatible solvents, you may have to do a bit of googling of the chemical names to match them up.

We use Wurth ones in the workshop, they last for years in daily use.

I have one at home too for brake cleaner.

Not that expensive for a bullet proof dispenser.

Those ebay ones, do you know what you are really getting for the sake of saving a few quid?.

I also have the Wurth one. I'm only on my second one because I lost my first one when packing up from a race weekend at Brand Hatch.

Originally lasted well over 5 years and my current one has been going for 3 or 4 I'd think.

I'm okay spending a few more quid if it's definitely a quality item. It's not clear to me what the difference is between the red and grey models. This price seems good and the Wurth website suggests that it would be fine with brake cleaner?

I think that may be the difference.

Which red one? There are 2, black handle with red pumping-part-thing or red handle and red pump that has 3 variations?

The ones that are all the same colour but with different labels are most likely the same.

I'm not sure that there's actually a difference between the colours.


It is normal for Wurth stuff to be cheaper on eBay as the sellers buy in bulk and get better pricing. The individual pricing for Wurth stuff is usually too much.

I bought a NAPA one from my local motor factor a month or so ago. It keeps pressure well (Over a week), and was only about £16, but I have no idea how it will fare over years of use.

Napa ones in daily use where I work for brake cleaner.
Word is that they stand up & last well.
(Next time I'm ordering workshop consumables from the Supplier, I plan to get myself one).

Ordered on Tuesday and received today (Thursday). £24.44 including delivery. Haven't tried it yet, but seems robust. Posted in a bag with minimal protection.
