I knew it was strict in Germany but had no idea Italy was similar. Here in Italy already are
As increasing the power 10% over stock ,no OEM exhausts, bigger rims than what's written on the registration, darkening windshield and front windows.
Applying pedal pads , everything about brakes is not allowed .
Roll cages, racing seats/seatbelts, racing steering wheel if applied on a car originally equipped with airbags.
Air filters of any sort .
Lights under the car and inside the car , additional lights on the front , coloured lights, led lights where not originally equipped.
I think you can wash the car without permission once in a while.
But you can install a rear spoiler cause it's a roof rack for the law over here .
In my town the modified car brigade meet up on Sunday evenings in a big public car park near train station, a little bit of naughtiness does happen but it's mainly about checking each others mods, they come from miles around with some pretty exotic stuff, and there are lots of them!
The police are often there, more socialising and checking out the motors than nicking people
