Just make sure it isn't the training lathe, T model i think, that has no geartrain or leadscrew or backgear and is very limited in what it can do. IME, Boxfords need to be 'quite' complete because of the cost of spares and extras. I once got one without a tailstock and that part cost me more than the rest of the lathe even though it was a second hand one.

The lathe is part of a deceased's estate, i heard of it through a friend, so i've asked him to get me some more info, obviously that needs to be done sensitively, so i'm waiting for him to get back to me.
