Boxford 280

Her who must be obeyed has relented and let me upgrade my Boxford BUD so now I have even less space in the garage for the time being and a new (to me) Boxford 280. Am I chuffed - oh yes, total case of lathe love .
Does anyone have a user manual I can have a copy of please?

Decent machines, I had the old version, the 11-30 Industrial and if I didnt need a bigger swing I'd have kept it.

We need pictures I'll be interested to see how you get on with it and what you think of it. As you know I'm still looking to upgrade from the AUD and a newer Industrial boxford model is still in the running along side a Harrison 140.

RTBComp set up a 'links' section so you can stick them in there - Old machine manuals are like gold dust!

Looks ace! There seems to be quite a few Boxfords of that style available for sale at the moment. I need to get the funds saved and get one! The AUD is a great wee lathe but I've got to the stage where it is not big enough to do some of the projects I have lined up for it now.
