I'll let you know. It's looking like having them folded might be preferable.Do you want to borrow my plasma? Not used it for a couple of years, but it should still work OK.

My first thought was Unistrut. Brilliant stuff. I made my camper seat base out of the stuff. How critical are the dimensions?
You might find a Halfen (Ancon, CFS) channel that is close. They do a 54 x 33. You can buy the channel with no prongs on the back.
Another alternative might be Unistrut, but it is 40 x 40. It think you can buy two welded side-by-side to make 80 x 40, but it would have a middle leg.
Front bumper and chassis for the Toylander?I was hoping no-one would ask.
I'll just give you these pictures:

(The Land Rover and Toylander are Google images but the same as the two I'll be picking up shortly except the Toylander will be in kit form and the Land Rover needs a resto)
Have you worked out what's missing?
I hope its not for the verticals of the lifting ramps!
It is, but about 1/3 scale.I hope its not for the verticals of the lifting ramps!
No, a ramp for it. My grandaughter (whom the Toylander is for) loves the big ramp so it only seems fitting she has one for hers too!Front bumper and chassis for the Toylander?
I do love a Series 2A, that's my planned retirement present for myself!
Nice looking set of ramps, are they yours?
Bang on @Agroshield !I think you may have identified the correct equipment but maybe not the vehicle that will go on it.
Model/scale ramps for the small Landie.
Or roller door track?
I hope both are getting a thread on here? Will be following the 2a project with much interest. It is, but about 1/3 scale.

Yes, the ramp is mine and that's it in my shed.
A pal has offered me his S2 for £1500. It's complete but needs a chassis and a good bit of titivation. I thought it might be fun to do them as a matching pair
That's the plan. I have to shift my GT6 first, it just needs a little bit of finishing on the recently repaired bonnet and tailgate, but then the Landies!I hope both are getting a thread on here? Will be following the 2a project with much interest.
I would have loved to make a Toylander for my boys, unfortunately life got in the way as it does and in seemingly no time the eldest is now 22 and the youngest will be 17 and getting his hands on a real car come May. Maybe for a future Grandson.
It can vary depending on a few things but typically, 90 - 100 kgs. About the same as meHow much does the Toylander weigh?
The offer is appreciated but the sizes are fairly critical. the cut out is where the bed of the ramp fits in and travels up and down.I’ve got some unistrut type stuff you can have but it’s only 35x40. Is there anything you could do with it?
Or roller door track?
Thanks chaps, I will have a closer look.Thankyou. Sliding gate track might be another area.

The pages above do not say how long it is, but it could be a price comparison against the folding (and it is weatherproof).
