Ah, I was thinking it may be some problem like that, the sort of change that often neither the original manufacturer or after market supplier can tell you even if you know the VIN.Ah! the thick plottens There are two rear drum diameters for the Isuzu truck, early ones had a smaller drum but exactly the same pattern of shoe.

I got that on the front brakes on the 2011Ah, I was thinking it may be some problem like that, the sort of change that often neither the original manufacturer or after market supplier can tell you even if you know the VIN.

i would say without measuring that the crap 1s would be 285 or 290mm not 295According to the book they can be 254mm or 295mm, it’s the same set up on the brakes to look at but just different sizes.

Long time ago now, I was replacing the front pads on my brothers Peugeot 205 Diesel, which he had bought new. Got the new pads from the local Factors (EK Brakes) and they didn't fit, took 'em back and the bloke checked the numbers "no, these are right for a 205 Diesel" so I went back, got the old pads off the car and took them to the Factors, "oh, those are for a 205GTI sir", so I bought and fitted GTI pads. Only thing I can think is Peugeot ran out of standard calipers on the line, and fitted GTI ones instead.

Would I be right in thinking that since they abolished the use of asbestos in pads, that discs are regarded as sacrificial items now?
