Amazon marketplace is like the wild west.Lesson learned; always check whether an item is being sold by Amazon or a Third Party and don't ignore the feedback.
Waiting on a refund for a 16Gb rtx5060 graphics card that turned up and was the 8gb model, they've acknowledged they are at fault, and sent a return label at no cost for the return, and now have sent a message on amazon saying it has been refunded to my card directly after being returned unopened to themselves, but still not convinced they have done it correctly and the system isnt processing the refund via amazon it seems who took the original payment. I have trust issues with marketplace stuff.
I'll get on the phone and get amazon themselves involved in 2 business days which is the last day the refund should have arrived on.
Its my own fault, I know marketplace is like buying off ali express in terms of quality and description just 10 times the price, just forgot to check for this one purchase. And their feedback is choc full of complaints for the same sleight of hand trick.
I'd fire that chair right back for not fit for purpose within whatever framework you have thats enforceable without a shred of concience, they're trying to have people over with a incorrect description describing it as so, its usually the case that the seller in a "marketplace" is a dropshipper who has no real idea of what theyre selling nor really cares, they've just wrote copy to make as many sales and as much money as possible.
