Bottle regulator pressure relief valves??????

I have acquired a CO2 regulator for a pub bottle but it seems to be leaking from what I assume to be its pressure relief valve.Can these be bought seperately?Just looked on Ebay without result.In the atached pics the one on the left is the one I'm asking about.The other one is from an Argon regulator that I thought may fit but it doesn't.

Because of the safety critical nature of PRV's - (pressure relief valves) - I suspect you won't be able to get one seperately. Also, if you don't know what the 'setting' of each of them is you'd need to be very careful.

I'm afraid (rather unhelpfully) I'd suggest you either ask a welding service centre if they can look at repairing the regulator or buy a new one.

i second the above there just the outlet so the leak is further in and wouldn't like to go there given the size of the bang if you get it wrong as the bottle will be at 300bar ish!

The CO2 bottle will be around 50 bar, so fitting an argon PRV which will be set for a 300 bar bottle as MK says, will be a pretty pointless exercise anyway.

50 bar will give a very big bang too.

I think the assembly itself is the blow off valve.I can see a spring through the holes in the top which must be jammed open but its a sealed unit.

for the £30 a new regulator is bin it or even better weigh it in there is money in brass

Actually rtbcomps comment is serious food for thought.There are sellers on ebay doing adaptors to fit a CO2 regulator to an argon bottle and vice versa.These must surely be highly dangerous?

it could be some CO2 regulators are rated to 300Bar so its not an issues with them but the cheep ones might not be
