Bosch tools: 12V jigsaw & LED light

Just wondered if anyone had either of these, and how they rated them. Wondering what type of runtime one might expect from both on a 2A or 2.5A battery too.

Considering getting this jigsaw due to the barrel design & lower size & weight. Have a Makita 18V jigsaw, but the 12V Bosch looks ideal for cutting from the underside.

Lamp wise, a few occasions recently I could have done with a floodlamp, so wondering whether to consider that Bosch, DeciLED?, unit, or whether to go with a Makita 18V unit.

Not a lot of help to you but I have a bosch 18v saw and it's pretty good for the money.

I also had the 18v led worklight which was ok but for the same price you can get 4 or 5 rechargeble led floodlights which is what I did once I had sold on the bosch one!

Only advantage with the bosch is you could stick a 6ah battery on it and it would never go flat!
Ok was also a bit nervous about smashing the bosch one up as it was a bit expensive. I am quite happy to leave the cheap ones out in the rain and balance them in high places!

I am constantly surprised by the life times on my 12v Bosch drill driver. It's not even a brushless either. I doubt you would be disappointed. You can get 3 maybe 3.5 Ah in the smaller form factor and 4 Ah for the slightly bigger packs.

They are good, aren't they. I was quite surprised how long the battery lasted on that little 12V circular saw when I was cutting that length of butchers block too. Shame Bosch don't have a larger range though. I'd love to have a 12V 1/4 sheet sander. The 18V one which Makita do looks way too top heavy and unwieldy.

Fortunately, the 12V lamp is only around £40, so not stupidly expensive. Knowing my luck, if/when I get one, I'll likely not have need again.
