None of them will give you any more oomph than the other though.
Actually it does, somewhat, because the voltage drop is lower when you're drawing similar power from a larger battery.
Think of it more like a hole in a bucket. The higher the water level is to start with, the faster the flow rate is.

I find it is the multitool and reciprocating saw that chews their way through batteries.Some of the bigger drills, saws, grinders etc need the procore batteries for full performance but if you don't plan to get any of them then just the regular batterys will do you just fine.
