What’s next for you now? Are you running other sims?Still updating the Nav database with 3.5 inch floppy discs. Pop 2 circuit breakers, insert discs, wait about 5 minutes each, reset breakers, crossload from master to slave and off you go. Current and previous discs often carried onboard, along with databases for other corners of the globe due to tiny storage in the FMCs.
Just closed the doors for the last time on our 747 Sims. Sad day made worse by managers treating us as potential criminals and photographing everything we took off of our desks.
Each display unit in the flightdeck is worth about £10,000 as a spare ($60,000+ new) so there is still lots of value in parts.
