Hi Guys and Girls, I'm hoping some of you might be able to point me in the right direction.
As we all know, car bodywork is one of those things that, for fussy people like me anyway, can be a nightmare! unless you're capable of doing it yourself of course.
Picking a bodyshop out of the yellow pages is complete pot-luck and you'll know how good the work is when it's done, which will be too late if it's not up to standard.
I'm looking to get some paintwork done on my car, probably a full blow over if I'm honest but no repairs, no welding etc, just paint. Can anyone recommend a good bodyshop in Hampshire, near Southampton is possible but I'm willing to drive for good work.
This is where I'm going to contradict myself but....I don't want to be ripped off either, I fully appreciate that it's all in the prep work but some quotes are ridiculous.
I would be more than happy to strip the car down beforehand and even flat everything down, help mask up etc etc anything to keep the costs down (and feel like I've done something).
Alternatively, are there any members on here based in or around Hampshire that can paint and would be willing to help?
It's really annoying as bodywork is something I'd love to learn but simply don't have anywhere to do it.
Thanks
Tom
