I have just changed the torch on my set to a eurotorch, after having problems with the original torch, which worked but balled up the 0.6mm wire, I now have no welding current, everything else works. I need a wiring diagram to see what pulls in the main contactor.

You might have to post up a pic of your mc to check model.
Also if you post pics of the "mod" it might be possible for us to sus what might be wrong.

I'll take some pics tomorrow and post them, on the old torch, the wire that comes from the red coloured terminal and goes to the button on the torch, which when pressed makes contact with the block that is connected to the main terminal, the euro torch has a two wire switch, so I have connected the red wire to the red terminal and the black wire to the main terminal, the feed motor runs and the gas valve works, but no welding current.
