Boat propeller shaft material. Tolerance of standard bright bar. Recommended supplier?

Thanks for all the replies, I have sent some emails for quotes for propeller shafting material and fully machined shafts, once I get the quotes back I'll make some decistions.

I use YouTube to escape from reality, not to revel in it. I have no excuse for watching Fenner straighten a prop but I find it compelling because it's obvious he knows what he's doing. Same goes for a lot of the other channels and their content. I don't feel the need to peek behind the curtain of their lives. 9/10 I probably don't even want to know....
