BMW fire orange

U94/2 is the paint/colour code, does anyone know it? I'm wondering if it's a pearl or maybe a metallic as I'm considering it for my project car. I had been thinking about the st220 orange, but it's probably a bit complicated (and expensive) for me to tackle

Probably, but I've had bother in the past with Halfords 'guaranteed match' - they gamely tried three times before giving up.

Went to BMW and the stuff they supplied was spot on.

Try hugspaint (aka nu again) on ebay, they always have some funky colours.

Max Meyer have U94 listed as a bmw colour, FeuerOrange it may be worth getting in touch with a local Max Meyer paint supplier and asking them if its metallic or direct gloss and what colour primer is recommended.

I called Max Meyer direct some years ago when I was looking for one of there products and was having difficulty obtaining it, they were very helpful and recommended a couple of fairly local suppliers.
