It's one of the most basic things they surely should know, how to loosen and tighten wheel nuts when you work as a tyre fitter.
Why don't they all know they have to tighten them to THE CORRECT TORQUE!
It's like not knowing what water is if you are a plumber!
I bollocked one because he jacked my car under the foot well and then went on to explain why it would be ok because it have a rubber pad on, my explanation to him was far less polite.
Costco is the only tyre place I've seen that do it properly, they use torque limit sockets then use a torque wrench that is stored safely out of the way and not thrown around
