Who has one and what apps do you use.
Now I've had this for years and I've only ever used paid for Torque on android.
It's worked so far on everything I've plugged it into, cleared many a fault.
In-laws have been getting consistent faults on there Volvo V40, they've had the corroded main relay/fuse box replaced and it's been playing up similar to that, it also had a wheel bearing and a faulty abs sensor replaced about 4 months ago.
Since then the city braking/abs/anti skid has been showing warning not working, garage said his reader couldn't re set the brake system.
Before sending them off to the Volvo specialist they use thought I would give the phone and elm a try.
Torque connected but said no faults found, thought yup it's not having it, it did show some live data but no faults.
Quick visit to play store DL car scanner set it away and bugger me it came up with a whole list of active and archived faults.
The main one being the not cleared abs fault, I was waiting for the app to say ohhh not paid for can't do anything but it didn't, cleared the lot, the dash re set and all lights out and warning screen back to nice pic of seats.
Full version is something like £4.00 I'm going to buy it just as a thanks for doing that one car.
Wondered if anyone else had used similar that's worth checking out, limitations seem to be more the software than the elm Bluetooth plug
