Good, I have just salvaged an ATX power supply that looks useful for running something similar

The main speakers are two little JBLs I rescued from a projector set up and the sub is a £20 8" driver from eBay hooked up in a home made sealed box about 0.5 cube. I'm impressed with how it sounds and Bluetooth hook up is dead simple

I have a couple of old Gale speakers from upgrading my surround sound, I will keep an eye open for a cheap sub to go with them.
Just spotted its 24v not 12v so I need a different power supply.

Power supply is important, iv got a 24v 10amp switch mode jobbie

+12 at 20amp and -12 at 1amp, I doubt I can link them up ?????

That would give you 24v at 1 amp, but be careful because the chassis will be at 0v so if you want a +24v supply you will have to connect the -12v to the amp zero line. If this becomes connected to the PSU chassis (mains earth) then you will short out the -12v supply.

Cheers for that, but unfortunately I don't think 1A will run the amplifier so I'll have to see what else is lying around.
