This lets you transfer £1 camping gas cartriges into an empty screw on blow torch can.
I have the same one, great bit of kit. I have a cheap propane torch on a hose that the burner part of this one handily screws straight onto allowing me to use it from a large cylinder.Note that you can use adaptors to burn much cheaper butane mix gas on the bigger mapp torches, good enough for light heating jobs.
My mapp torch is discontinued bernzomatic one. The flame comes out horizontal rather than a silly upwards angle of all the mordern ones. Doesnt have a built in sparker but not an issue to use a lighter. I'd like to get another if they still made them.

Wrong sort of can and wrong gas for mapp torches. They will run ok on butane but, if your going to do it may aswell use the adaptor instead of filling cylinders - which I believe the rules on here forbid the discussion. This lets you transfer £1 camping gas cartriges into an empty screw on blow torch can.
Having various sizes of nozzles would this be good for jewellery/wire type soldering??I use this set
