Blending 2K Semi Gloss

Hi there
Need some help/guidance please.

I haye had to do some rust repairs to my camper van which as always was way worse than anticipated but decided on doing it properly.
As a result I am now going to have to blend the repairs in. I sprayed the vam myself and I have plenty of the same batch paint left which is good.
It is a 2K Solid Semi Gloss paint and I have no lacquer on the paint so I dont have that to worry about.

here are the repairs - please could I have some advise on the best techique/procedre to get the best match

id paint it edge to edge /complete panels with that , as with blends part of getting it right is the final polish

is it definitely a semi gloss paint or just a bad paint job ?

Defo Semi Gloss and the paint looks bad as it has been heated, scratched, bumped any everything else

just paint up to that seam if its a rough n ready van

then as steve said paint the full panel as you cant polish semi gloss and have it remain a semi gloss

I have always wondered about semi gloss, is it semi gloss through the total thickness of the paint or is it just a surface finish that only dulls the top of the paint?

its a matting agent thats added to the paint which is why you cant change your mind and polish it. Its really designed for 2k to replicate the old cellulose finish on classic cars.

Not yet sprayed the semi gloss lacquer as these repairs needed doing. Not sure if I will even bother with a clear coat.
