Well if you manage to get some funds together, I can highly recommend Peat Oberon for Blacksmith courses. I was lucky enough to meet Pondman at one of Peat's courses, and I am sure he will agree with me when I say it was brilliant! I have done another one since then, and later in the year I hope to do another, but I think I need to put some more time in at the anvil before I spend anymore on courses. Practice is what is needed for me at the moment, and loads of it!
Another big vote for Peat's courses, I did his toolmaking course which pays for itself giving you wont need to buy anymore tools when you can make your own. I would love to do his damascus and mokume course and leaves and organic forms course.
