Black gloss metal paint - which & where to buy?

Title ^^^^ sums it up really.
I've got a job that needs about 10-20 litres of black gloss paint - repainting a loooong stretch of railings.

Where is the best place to buy (in 5l tins?) and any recommended brands - or what to avoid? (I won't be buying hammerite, or b&q)

Needs to be pretty local to south leeds - don't mind a 20 mile trip for the right stuff at the right price tho...

I have had good results with Jotun Conseal TU:

This is my local supplier but I imagine it's widely available.
Not badly priced either.

That looks perfect, and about the right price ( 35.10 +VAT for 5l tins from rawlins, which is about 10 minutes away.)

Have a look also at Shipley paint. I used some of their red oxide and found it very good. They used to have a shop in hunslet but I think its now closed and all gone to Shipley. Worth checking though.

You will need some xylene based gunwash as well to clean your brushes or thin it down, cheap as chips.

Brushes for railings? small roller will cover them in half the time,also saves cleaning the brushes.

I have a huge box of "jenny brushes" which are the disposable foam, so no cleaning needed.

Tractol 329 chassis enamel paint is good. Firm called Smith and Allan in Darlington and on ebay
